Where Sound Becomes Story and Story Becomes Experience.
About the Artist

Ari Khan is a multi-hyphenate music and storytelling artist with an ear for emotional detail and a gift for world-building.

Long before she had access to a studio, a 5 year-old Ari once cut a CD out of paper, handed it to her mom, and confidently asked her to put it in the player. She then ran into the bathroom and sang at the top of her lungs, determined to make the illusion convincing. It didn’t quite work — but the instinct was there. She wasn’t just performing. She was building an experience.

That moment would later inspire the name of her production company, Paper CD Studios — a reminder that imagination comes first, and the medium catches up later.

Today, Ari blends exciting pop compositions, cinematic production, and narrative storytelling to create emotionally vivid, immersive worlds. Her work transforms personal experience into environments that invite audiences to feel from the inside out. Through Paper CD Studios, she develops music, film, and multidisciplinary live events that dissolve the boundary between observer and participant. Her projects shine light on overlooked perspectives and challenge audiences to question the systems shaping their lives. At its core, Ari’s work uses immersion as a tool — to expand empathy, disrupt apathy, and imagine better worlds into being.
